You will play a vital role in the retail operations team at Studio 88 as a Sales Assistant. Providing top-notch customer service, helping customers locate merchandise, handling transactions, and making sure the store stays tidy are all part of your job description.
You will be a key player in boosting sales and upholding the store’s high standards while working under the direction of the store manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring they have a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Assist with restocking apparel, folding, organizing clothing, and maintaining a clean store environment.
- Ensure the store displays are visually appealing through basic visual merchandising principles.
- Maintain inventory control by organizing the stockroom and conducting regular spot checks.
Qualifications and Experience
To qualify for this role, you need the following:
- Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years in a sales or retail environment, preferably in fashion retail.
- A proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and handle cash transactions efficiently.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service skills: Essential for addressing customer needs and ensuring satisfaction.
