Position level: T11 Salary range: R359 952,00 to R499 920,00 annually
Pay package estimate: R518 224,91 – R696 373,84 annually
JOB PURPOSE: To manage operational shifts while carrying out operational duties as well as requested ad hoc duties in order to effectively carry out all activities, operations, and interventions related to all fields within the operational policing environment and ensure effective and efficient service delivery in the City of Tshwane metropolitan area.
CRITERIA FOR APPOINTMENTS: Grade 12 Traffic Officer Registration in accordance with the National Road Traffic Act, 1996 (Act 93 of 1996)
appointment under the South African Police Service Act, 1995 (Act 68 of 1995) as a member of a municipal police force
a minimum of four years of comparable work experience
must have an active driver’s license, either Code B or EB.
must pass a physical and medical examination that the Chief of Police determines
No criminal history, records, or current charges (apart from prior convictions related to political activity during the previous administration), and such an individual must consent to having their fingerprints taken.
To take the Oath of Office of the Tshwane Metro Police Department, one must be ready.
