SASSA Free State Region is currently recruiting Grants Administrators (Level 05) for its Bethlehem and Qwaqwa Local Offices. These roles are ideal for individuals passionate about public service, community upliftment, and contributing to the social development landscape of South Africa.


Tasks

As a Grants Administrator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Screening and verifying the accuracy and completeness of all grant applications
  • Capturing grant application information onto SASSA systems
  • Providing excellent customer care and support at service points
  • Managing grant documentation and performing administrative tasks
  • Conducting quality control on all grant applications
  • Ensuring compliance with Section 57 of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Chapter 6, Part 3

Qualifications

To be eligible for these roles, applicants must possess:

  • Senior Certificate (Grade 12) – NQF Level 4
  • Computer literacy is essential

Experience

While not mandatory, the following will be considered advantageous:

  • A valid driver’s license
  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role
