🎓 Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

• Grade 12 / Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Candidates should also have appropriate knowledge and skills relating to museums, including museum ethics, collections management, research, exhibitions and educational programmes. Computer literacy, literacy, numeracy and good communication skills are also required.

The successful candidate may be responsible for:

▪︎Assisting with the administration of the museum and related activities.

▪︎Facilitating and presenting public programmes.

▪︎Maintaining good public relations.

▪︎Facilitating educational and outreach programmes.

▪︎Conducting research and assisting with exhibitions.

▪︎Assisting with the promotion and marketing of the museum.

▪︎Supporting the preservation and presentation of natural and cultural history.

💰 Salary and Benefits

The advertised remuneration is R237,453 to R279,708 per annum (Salary Level 5).
