The Successful incumbent will maintain an effective and efficient functional dispatch area in conjunction with security and supply customer service to all parties collecting stock from the DC internally and externally.
Duties and Responsibilities
Allocate cages and prepare invoices by stop sequence Control drivers, vehicles, Diesel cards, keys, trolleys and perform daily inspections Control Returns and reallocate accordingly Arrange vehicles, drivers and crew staff as instructed Ensure preloading and preloading KPIs are achieved Report issues to the transport manager Ensure all vehicles adhere to their planned dispatch times Complete daily reports Assist in checking Exports Assist in wrapping pallets once checked Assist in housekeeping Shunting of trucks on and off loading bay Managing tasks related to courier delivery services Issue collections to sales and walk in customers

Experience Required
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Dispatch Controller function at a supervisory level.
Minimum Qualifications Required
Completed Matric Transport/Logistics Management tertiary qualification or studying towards
Knowledge Required
Microsoft Office Driver’s License (Code 10)
